Nighthawk Login User Manual: Model WiFi 7 Router RS700S

The Nighthawk RS700S router device is a WiFi 7 three band router. User will get 6GHz channel along with 5GHz and 2.4GHz channels. In this guide, we will explain all components of the Nighthawk RS700S router like package content, panels, Nighthawk router login via app as well as manually.

How to Set Up RS700S Router via Nighthawk App?

Download the Nighthawk app in your phone from the Play Store or App Store. Then, use an Ethernet cable to connect the router’s WAN port with home modem LAN port. Now, follow below steps:

1. Plug the router’s power adapter into the wall socket and turn it on.
2. Open the app in your phone and create the Netgear account.
3. Enter your Email ID and name to get the Verification code.
4. Type the code that sent to your Email address and tap Continue.
5. Select the Setup New Device, and choose WiFi Router option.
6. The app will instruct you to connect the phone with the router’s WiFi Network.
7. Use the back label of the router to get the password of the WiFi network.
8. Connect your Phone with router’s network and tap Connect button.
9. Next enter the new network name and password which you want to use to connect with the WiFi after setup.
10. Tap Next and enter the admin password and answer two simple security questions.
11. Tap Setup. Wait for a few minutes until the router refreshes its signals and network.

After that, you can connect to the new WiFi network and enjoy seamless internet connectivity.

How to Set Up RS700S Router Manually (Routerlogin.net)?

Begin with connecting the home modem with the router with the help of the Ethernet cable. Plug the cable into the router’s WAN port and modem’s LAN port. Turn on the devices and follow steps given below:

• Connect Computer to WiFi

  Link your PC with the Nighthawk router WiFi network using the default SSID credentials given on the Back label of the device.

• Access Routerlogin.net

  Go into the web browser of the PC and enter the login URL routerlogin.net or IP address 192.168.1.1. Search it and reach Nighthawk router login page.

• Create Netgear Account

  On the login page, enter the Default admin username: admin and password: password. Click LOGIN button. A Create account page will appear, here enter Email ID, name, password, and answer two security questions. Click NEXT.

• Create Nighthawk Router Network

  Now, you have to enter the new WiFi network name and password which you will connect to after setup. After that, Nighthawk login interface will search for new firmware update, if the update is available, then download and install it.

Now, your Netgear Nighthawk router RS700S device setup is completed and you can connect with the new network.
